Carl Eugene Moore MFA ’09 was named director of healthcare administration at Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina. Moore has taught English and literature at Newberry College and Piedmont Technical College, in addition to the Health and Medical Informatics graduate program at Brandeis University. He brings more than 25 years of experience in primary healthcare and more than 10 years in higher education to


the healthcare administration program at Columbia College.


Stephen Fogg MA ’14 traveled to Peru with Waypoint Church and F3 on a mission trip to build homes for families living in the Barrios of Chimbote. Stephen spent his downtime exercising with the men of Chimbote, working in a soup kitchen, and hiking Cristo del Pacífico (Christ of the Pacific) in Lima and Cerro de la Paz (Mountain of Peace) in Chimbote, Peru. Te trip helped him understand that people in our lives matter more than our possessions.


Donna Kaz MFA ’14 joined the theatre arts department of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, as a guest artist. She will teach and direct/choreograph the musicals Young Frankenstein and Carousel.


Mardi Link MFA ’14 received the Reporter of the Year award for 2019 from CNHI, a media company that owns more than 100 newspapers in 20 states. Mardi is an enterprise reporter for the Traverse City Record-Eagle, a daily newspaper in northern Michigan.

A young woman creates a ritual to celebrate the life of a kidnapped girl, an unmarried woman wanders into a breast feeders’ support group and stays, a grieving mother finds solace in an unlikely place and a young girl discovers more than she bargained for when she spies on


her neighbors. Tough they may seem lost, each finds their center as they confront the challenges and expectations of womanhood.


Taylor Jones MBA ’16 was promoted to the position of vice president of marketing and is now a member of the senior management team at Soft-Tex International, Inc.
