ENGAGED ADVOCATES. INSPIRED CHALLENGE. #QUNITED
For 24 hours each year during #QUnited, money is raised to support the Queens Fund for student scholarships (our most critical need) and other areas of need across campus. The goal for 2020 was to get 1,200 donors in 24 hours on March 11. The challenge was that an alumna from the class of ’58 would donate $50,000 for student scholarships if the goal was met. Supporters were encouraged to give to a Queens cause or program about which they are passionate and, as a result, 1,220 donors participated and raised $149,748. #QUnited was a success, largely in part to 49 volunteer advocates who leveraged their own personal connections, professional networks and social media influence to raise $25,507 of the total.
1,932 QUEENS FUND DONORS

“QUnited has become one of my favorite newest traditions. I feel such a sense of pride to be an alumna of Queens, but I feel even more privilege to be able to walk in and be inspired daily by my students. And that is possible through generosity. I love this day because we get to pay it forward to a new class and every single dollar goes towards students.”
