OVERCOMING INEQUALITIES. HELPING OTHERS.

At Queens University, we firmly believe in fighting systemic racism and injustice, and we must actively learn, engage and advocate. As a result, Queens established the Racial Justice Fund to support initiatives and programs that promote diversity, inclusion and equity, and further the discussion about racial justice in America. Funds will be used by students and staff to host diverse speakers, train themselves and others on effective individual and group dialogues and organize educational trips to learn more about the history of slavery and civil rights.

“Queens University has always welcomed me and my family. When I was pursuing my MBA, the other students, staff and professors at Queens became much like an extended family. To me, supporting Queens is the right thing to do, and I’ve long given because Queens had a major impact on me. This year, as the university seeks do the right thing to address racial injustice, we made an additional gift.”

— Angi Clinton MBA ’01

“We know there is much work to be done and firmly believe this fund will be critical in continuing that work. Queens is committed to giving members of its campus community the tools, space and support they need to enact lasting change.”

— Darryl White, Sr. ’92, Assistant Dean, Diversity, Inclusion & Community Engagement

During my time at Queens, I was exposed to people who challenged my thinking and broadened my world view. I gave to the Racial Justice Fund, because prospective students of all races should have equal access to the Queens experience. It is my hope that these funds can be used to create intentional structures and systems that will help Queens achieve an inclusive and diverse community.
