SWANSEA CABBIE GETS £1000 TIP JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!
I was standing on the beautiful beaches of Swansea, the sea gleamed still like a myriad-petalled rose… it wasn’t the best place to catch a cab, but it was worth a wander just for these wonderful views. My investigation around Swansea couldn’t have come at a better time. I was smack bang in the middle of the Swansea Festival – a ten-day celebration of music and arts. I was so taken in by the electric atmosphere that I did- n’t manage to spot a cab with my sticker! Next I went to inspect Swansea Market. My sources told me it is the biggest and most famous market in all of Wales – bound to be some cabbies there. I walked around to find over a hundred warm and friendly traders

and treats such as flowers, sparkly jew- ellery and even traditional laver- bread… I had so much fun that yet again, I missed all the taxis! I left the market with lots of new detective goodies… but now it was time to get seri- ous and find my cab. I was on the high street where almost instant- ly, a cab caught my eye… big blue trench- coat, fistful of cash... it had my sticker!
Clare Smoldon was the lucky owner’s
name and it’s fair to say she was utterly delighted with her £1000 tip.
