TWO WOMEN TRASH HULL TAXI IN A RACIST RAGE AFTER REFUSING TO PAY THE FARE
Two women have been caught on camera smashing the inside of a taxi before launching a racist tirade at the driver. According to the Daily Mail, Lucy Shann, 29, and Abbie White,
18,
from Hull, subjected driver Ako Swara to racist abuse, includ- ing calling him a P**i, and caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to his cab in the early hours of the morn- ing on February 17. At Hull Magistrates’ Court Shann admit- ted to using racist language but White said she could not
remember what she said. Both pleaded guilty to racially aggravat- ed criminal damage. The hackney car- riage driver had picked up the pair from Hull city cen- tre at around 4am before taking them to their intended destination. However, according to prosecutor Laura Wickens,
upon
arrival the women ‘refused to pay the fare’, leading to Mr Swara locking the doors and driving them to Osborne Street Police Sta- tion where they were arrested. Mr Swara, who has a
kicks out at the door of the taxi before Shann fol- lows suit. Further

camera installed in the back of his taxi for safety purposes, captured footage of the women kicking against the door and the floor of the cab. It shows White and Shann sitting in the back of the taxi
MANCHESTER DRIVER’S CAB SMASHED UP BY VANDALS OUTSIDE HIS HOME
A helpless taxi driv- er watched as five vandals smashed up his cab outside his home in Crumpsall, Manchester. The Manchester Evening News re- ports that Nasar Rashid, 48, was woken up by his young son who told him that people were smashing his car up. He then watched the yobs damage his Citroen Grand Picasso by striking the back windows. The dad of five who works for Street Cars had to take the next three days off

calmly before Shann begins stamping on the floor of the cab. She then gestures towards the window of the taxi and bangs on it before seemingly shouting into Mr Swara’s camera. White then again
shows White con- tinuing to remon- strate with the driv- er before once again forcibly boot- ing the door of the taxi. Speaking after the court case Mr Swara said the women had damaged the side door of his vehicle and the security glass. He told HullLive: “They were racist, aggressive and they damaged the side door and the securi- ty glass between me and them and it
has cost me £300 to get it repaired. They kicked my car and started shout- ing:
‘You are
kidnapping us’. Mr Swara admitted he longer felt safe in his job and was left “wanting to quit after eight or nine years of being in the trade”. Instead of sentenc- ing the pair at Hull Magistrates’ Court on March 28, it was decided they would be dealt with in a month’s time at the same court. They were told to expect community orders as punish- ment
by magistrate.
LONDON PHV HAS HEART ATTACK AFTER ARMED YOBS SMASH UP CAR
Nasar Rashid watched as yobs smashed up his taxi
work waiting for his car to be fixed. Luckily the yobs didn’t manage to smash the windows fully or take any- thing from inside. But the taxi driver
says he’s left feeling scared after the inci- dent. He added that he’s spoken to the coun- cil about the high number of thefts in the local area.
A PHV driver suf- fered a suspected heart attack when thugs followed his vehicle and smashed the windows. According to the Mirror, the man in his 40s was ambushed by armed men who had been following him moments earli- er, police believe. The victim remained in hospital in a “crit- ical condition”. A 999 call was made at 11.30pm on Satur- day 30 March, reporting a group of males were damag- ing a Toyota Prius in Hackney. Police and paramedics raced to
the scene where they found the taxi driver inside the car suffering from a “medical episode”. The victim’s car had been followed by a white Ford Focus which is understood to have boxed in the cab before “four or five males armed with weapons” jump- ed
out. They
smashed the win- dows of the victim’s car before fleeing in the Ford Focus. Three passengers who were also inside the minicab at the time of the attack were uninjured. Detective Constable
James Readman said: “Although the driver was not injured directly by the suspects, it is believed he was taken ill shortly after the attack on the car. “He now remains in hospital
in a life
threatening condi- tion and my officers are working to iden- tify the group of males responsible. “It appears this was a planned attack and an investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances which led to this incident taking place.”
