POINT OF SALE...POINT OF SALE QR TAXIBOOKER - THE FUTURE OF TAXI BOOKING

In a very competitive market, taxi fleets are increasingly

looking at ways to both increase and automate bookings. Whilst most fleets have their own passenger app, which is great for regular local users, getting bookings from venues such as hotels, bars, restaurants etc. can be a different problem. Quite often the app is impractical, as these types of passengers are from outside the area, or just want an easy booking solution and are reluctant to go through the registration required for a fleet’s app.

QR TaxiBooker is the perfect solution to automate and increase bookings from venues using easy to deploy, branded QR taxi booking points that deliver a simple, seamless automated booking experience.

QR Codes are the natural evolution from free phones and devices. They’re surprisingly easy to create in our online portal and create a customised professional printed code, replaceable in seconds. You can easily place a secure, automated booking using the features you are familiar with from an app, without having to download anything or use an additional device.

Fully customisable not only visually but in functionality,

to

capture name, des- tination, and phone number with ETA, vehicle tracking and even price quoting which can be enabled or disabled in our online portal.

There’s no limit to where you can deploy a booking code!

Imagine posters in many locations, on the table behind the bar, at reception, in the lifts, at the bus station…

It’s as simple as scan, book, go.

LEE NEALEN JOINS CABCARD SERVICES

Lee Nealen is to join CabCard Services, the UK’s specialist card payment provider for taxi fleets and their drivers. Lee has been appointed as Director of Sales from January 2023.

He joins CabCard having been with Autocab for the last 11 years, engaging with taxi fleet customers across the UK. “It was the right time in my career to consider new opportunities, having been part of Autocab’s success for a number of years. “The prospect of joining CabCard, a major card payment processing business which serves our sector every day was too good to miss. I will be matching my experience and contact base to the opportunities available with card and digital payments, an area where CabCard is the clear leader, especially as the taxi sector continues to move from a cash focus towards cashless operations,” explained Lee. CabCard provides card payment processing services to taxi fleets and their drivers, counting many of the largest fleets in the UK as customers. CabCard also provides services directly to individual drivers.
