point of sale...point of sale... THE TAxI SHOp WINS MAJOR CONTRACT TO SECURE FUTURE

Longstanding trade supplier The Taxi Shop has landed a significant order to supply and convert 30 brand new vehicles for a large council contractor. The Ampthill-based taxi trade experts will deliver a finished vehicle each week for the

next seven months. This new fleet comprises 26 Ford Transit 15-seaters and four 17-seaters, specially adapted to under- take the transport of wheelchair passengers. Each new vehicle will be fully wheelchair accessible comprising an in-board hydraulic tail lift, tracking system, quick release seats and wheelchair anchorages to comply with the relevant local authority requirements. Our customer chose The Taxi Shop based on a consistent quality of workmanship demon- strated over the two years since we took conversions in-house. Josh Rhynas, Sales Director at The Taxi Shop is overseeing the contract, he said: “This is a massive vote of confidence from a significant taxi firm. We listened carefully to what they wanted and delivered a specification that exceeded expecta- tions. At our facilities the client met Ash Munford who leads the conversions and coachwork here as well as myself and we all hit it off from the start. It is all part of building a strong rela- tionship and setting trust, reliability and confidence in stone as the foundations of this relationship.” The vehicles will also feature bespoke seat covers and our exclusive composite flooring that reduces road noise and maintains an even temperature through the seasons. It all adds up to a knockout package and that’s why the customer chose The Taxi Shop over alternative suppliers.

Rob Breuilly, The Taxi Shop’s founder and MD, said: “This fan- tastic order goes to show that hard work, innovation and ongoing high quality workmanship does pay off. After what has been a very difficult period this order secures the future for The Taxi Shop. Customers, partners, suppliers and friends can be confident we will be supplying excellent vehicles and services for years to come.” While the industry has faced difficulties The Taxi Shop has consistently supported its customers. The fact that we are surviving and thriving is testament to the loyalty and the dedication of a brilliant team.

HAT-TRICk OR AWARDS FOR SEIB INSURANCE BROkERS

SEIB Insurance Brokers took the title of Personal Lines Broker of the Year at the British Claims Awards on the 19th November 2020. This is the third time in as many years that SEIB has won this high-profile award.

The judging panel commented on SEIB’s passion for its cus- tomer base and how the company’s understanding puts it ahead of its competitors. SEIB’s Financial Director Bipin Thaker said: “Our thanks go to our brilliant team on this achievement. We are delighted that their hard work throughout this difficult year has been recognised. Our staff implemented and adapted to home working quickly with the onset of the pandemic, meaning we have been able to continue to provide the customer service that people expect from us. Our communication lines remain as strong as ever so our clients can rest assured knowing that we are here to help when they need us most.”

Panel judge, Christian Lindley, a director at Kindertons’ said: “Our winner came out on top in a highly competitive category. Ultimately SEIB showed why it is a leader in its niche area of focus.” SEIB has a very high customer satisfaction score and the company is renowned for its performance in niche insurance markets. The SEIB team also does a huge amount for local and national charities and back in March this year, SEIB swiftly moved its annual charity awards online to ensure that the £50,500 they intended to grant to good causes – as decided by SEIB customers - went seamlessly ahead.
