Ceremonies at Sheffield Register Office
Sheffield Register Office is located in Sheffield Town Hall; a beautiful grade I listed Victorian building. The Register Office is next to the beautiful Peace Gardens and fountains, easily accessible in the heart of the city centre.
The Statutory Register Office is available for couples who just want to attend with their witnesses, it takes place in a working office on the lower ground floor of the Town Hall. It is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Ceremony Suite
Four larger ceremony rooms, the Loxley, Arundel, Hallam and Norfolk are also available, these are situated off the grand foyer of the Town Hall.
The Arundel, and Norfolk suite comfortably seat up to 45 guests, the Hallam suite holds up to 56 guests and the Loxley suite holds up to 16 guests.
The ceremony rooms and waiting area are all air conditioned and occupy part of the ground floor at the main entrance of the Town Hall. It is fully accessible to wheelchair users and offers disabled facilities.
You can choose to personalise your ceremony in the ceremony rooms by bringing your own music or including a reading or poem. Each of our ceremony rooms has facilities for music if you wish to bring your own CD, ipod, iphone, ipad or laptop. Any music you bring must be of a non-religious nature. If you would like a reading or poem to be read out by one of your guests please note that this must also be of a non-religious nature.
Attendees can also take photographs or record your ceremony but please note that the use of a flash may be distracting.
Photographs can also be taken in the Peace Gardens, with its spectacular fountains, or the Winter Gardens.

You can view the Ceremony Rooms listed above when ceremonies are not taking place. Please call in and ask the attendants at the main entrance of the Town Hall on Pinstone Street or alternatively you are welcome to arrange a viewing.
