Whirlow Playing Fields


Whirlow Playing Fields, off Limb Lane to the south of the city, were originally farmlands which were used for growing oats and grazing horses. The playing fields with views over the city can be used for reception purposes and accommodate a large sized marquee.


Ecclesall Woods


This is the largest area of ancient woodland in Sheffield, easily accessible both by the local community and from other parts of the city and region. Today Ecclesall Woods is a Local Nature Reserve and is identified as an area of Natural History interest. The habitat types include broadleaved woodland, streams and flushes.


Millhouses Park


Millhouses Park is located to the south of the city. This beautiful green space is steeped in history and has acres of mown lawns, trees, floral display beds and the river Sheaf running through it. The park is also used for all sorts of activities including water sports and outdoor events.
