LETTERS TO CHARACTERS (AGES 3 – 12) Visit the Letters to Characters station and leave a letter for your favorite storybook characters! A new character will be introduced each month. Personalized replies will be available for pick-up at the Information Desk during the last week of the month.


KID LIBRARIAN (AGES 4 – 12) Have you ever seen a librarian and thought, “Yeah, I could do that!”? Here’s your chance to find out! Each month, one lucky participant will be selected to team up with staff to create a themed book display in our children’s area. The selected “Kid Librarian of the Month” will be featured in the library and on our social media. Visit our website for details. Registration required.

READING DRAGONS (AGES 5 – 12) Adventure awaits! Pick up a Starter Pack and begin your Reading Dragons journey. Each month, new cards are released to fuel your reading, unlock new dragons, and keep your collection growing. Collect them, trade them, and build a legendary deck worthy of a true Dragon Master. Available the first week of every month at the Information Desk.


NATURE NERDS (AGES 6 – 12) Formerly known as STEAM Lab, this refreshed program brings nature and STEAM together in hands-on adventures! Interactive experiments and creative projects invite kids to explore, invent, and uncover the wonders around them, turning curiosity into a fun-filled learning adventure. Registration required.

Start with an hour of volunteering at the library, then stick around for activities like Culture Café, where you explore a new culture with a treat and craft; Next Level Gaming, with board, card, and video games; Adulting 101, where you learn real-life skills; and Books & Bites, with snacks and book chats. A waiver is required for participants under 18. Registration required.
