January – April 2026
MESSAGE FROM THE
MAYOR
CITY COUNCIL
Another new year is upon us, and we are so excited for what’s ahead in 2026. We are pleased to share with you the January-April edition of the RAVE Review, which is filled with information about everything that’s happening in Avondale over the next few months. Whether it’s taking part in youth sports programs at our beautiful parks, learning a new skill at our libraries, or enjoying a festival or community event, Avondale has got you covered!
This also happens to be a milestone year for Avondale – 2026 marks the City’s 80th anniversary since its incorporation in 1946. Throughout the year, Avondale will be celebrating its 80th anniversary as a reminder of how far this city has come. From its humble beginnings as an agricultural community to a thriving, dynamic, and burgeoning city, Avondale remains proud of its past, excited about the present, and optimistic for the future.
Be sure to follow the City on social media to learn more about our 80th Anniversary and celebrate with us!
