Your RAVE Review On the Cover

A

visit to the petting zoo at Billy Moore Days in Historic Avondale provides the perfect photo op for these two "kids" to grace the cover of the RAVE.

When you ask most longtime Avondale residents about their memories growing up here, many of them will inevitably mention Billy Moore Days – a tradition celebrated for more than five decades in Avondale. This year’s event takes place October 17 – 20.

See page 32 for more details on this, and other upcoming events that we hope you consider to be part of your calendar of "things to do" this season.

The RAVE Review is Avondale’s

community guide to resources, activities, venues and events for the season; the magazine that highlights the myriad of happenings in Avondale September through December 2019, provided by City of Avondale. Enjoy your complimentary issue.

Photos shown at left:

Billy Moore Days wild west antics include a cowboy hollering contest. Carnival rides take you for a wild ride.

Dish it up! Pie eating contestants make a tasty mess.
