Avondale Parks and Recreation fields and picnic ramadas are offered on a first come, first served basis for our residents. Rent a field or picnic ramada in advance to ensure space is available for you.


FIELDS


✓ Reserve fields up to 30* days in advance for residents


✓ $15** per hour for daytime use 7 am - 5 pm, Sun - Fri


✓ $20** per hour for prime time use 5 - 10 pm, Mon - Fri; Sat (all day)


PICNIC SHELTERS ✓ Reserve picnic ramadas up to 1 year in advance


✓ Picnic ramadas are $50** for a 4-hour block at Friendship Park


✓ Picnic ramadas hold a maximum of 30 people


✓ Alcohol permits are available for purchase with a picnic ramadas rental

CLASSES DO NOT MEET ON THE FOLLOWING CITY OBSERVED 2019 HOLIDAYS: Sep. 2 (Labor Day), Nov. 11 (Veterans' Day), Nov. 28 & 29 (Thanksgiving Holiday), Dec. 25 (Christmas Day), Jan. 1 (New Year's Day). Any additional dates that classes do not meet are included in course descriptions.

Deadline to register is one week prior to the start date of programs unless otherwise stated. We recommend that you register early for programs and classes (at least two weeks prior). Insufficient registration may result in class cancellation. Registration forms will be processed in the order they are received.

 2. In-Person Registration (check, money order, credit, cash): Registrations may be processed at the Avondale Civic Center between the hours of 7 am – 6 pm, Mon - Thu (closed on Fri).  3. Special Registration: Some programs have special registration procedures. Instructions for registration process are indicated in the program description.
