Classes are for all ages. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
This training covers CPR and basic first aid for adults, children, and infants. This is a basic CPR class and doesn’t meet the requirements for healthcare providers.

The insurance carrier for your home or business uses an ISO rating as a consideration to determine the rate at which to charge to cover your property. An ISO rating is set by the Insurance Service Office (ISO) and is based off of data supplied to them in part by the fire departments that serve the area.
Communities are graded on a 1-10 ISO- scale – 1 being the highest (typically achieved by larger communities with vast resources). There are several factors that are used to determine an ISO rating for a community, ranging from response times and whether a city has the adequate fire suppression systems in place, water supply/ water pressure/flow, as well as fire and construction code standards. The City of Avondale’s most recent ISO rating is an overall Class 2. This speaks to the commitment of the City towards investing in the infrastructure, programs and services needed to ensure a safe community for all our residents. With four fire stations built strategically throughout the city, and our enrollment in the regional Automatic Aid Dispatch System, the community is assured that the closest available unit will respond in an emergency.
