our values, part of which is through our long-standing commitment to the health and wellness of people everywhere who are affected by breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Campaign (The BCC) will continue to raise millions in funds and drive positive social impact globally through the support of our employees, consumers and partners. Some things may look different this year as we take a digital-first approach to prioritise the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone at the forefront of our efforts. Despite all the obstacles, our mission to create a breast cancer-free world is stronger than ever.
Do you expect the Covid-19 pandemic to impede fundraising efforts? Over the course of our nearly three decades of fundraising through The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast
Cancer Campaign, we are proud to have raised more than $89 million to support global research, education and medical services. Like many sectors of the world’s economy, breast cancer research faces a steep cut in funding this coming year as we continue to navigate a new global health crisis. We remain unwavering in our commitment to raising funds, and hope others will join us to rally around organisations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to maintain the incredible momentum we have gained over the years.
I understand that the Breast Cancer Research Foundation was able to host its annual fundraiser virtually this year. How successful was the event? This May, we were heartened that many of our long-time supporters demonstrated their deep dedication
