Antonio Gea to leave as Dufry makes changes to Global Executive Committee Salvatore Aricò has been named as Chief Organization & Transformation Officer at Dufry Group and joins the Global Executive Committee. Aricò (pictured above), currently Global


Human Resources Director, possesses extensive knowledge of travel retail having joined the Basel-based firm in 2014 linked to the Nuance acquisition. He will focus on driving further


development and transformation of the company’s organisation when he begins his new role on 1 January 2021. The human resources department will


continue to fall within the remit of Luis Marin, Chief Corporate Officer. In a simultaneous announcement, Dufry


said Deputy Group CEO José Antonio Gea will stand down from his position and as a member of the Global Executive Committee on 31 December. Having joined Dufry as Global Chief


Operating Officer in 2004, Antonio Gea was appointed Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer in 2018.


Kam Jandu to step down as Budapest CCO on 15 December 2020 The much respected and highly popular Kam Jandu is to step down as Budapest Airport Chief Commercial Officer on 15 December 2020. Jandu (pictured centre top), who will leave


the airport operator by mutual agreement has been working at the company since 2009. Initially serving as Aviation Director, he became Chief Commercial Officer in 2013. He will pursue new opportunities in 2021.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Jandu was responsible for Budapest Airport’s airline and commercial marketing, commercial passenger services and cargo operations as of this year.


Francois Bourienne departs AGS Airports to pursue ‘fresh opportunities’ Chief Commercial Officer at AGS Airports Ltd Francois Bourienne, will depart from his role in order to ‘pursue fresh opportunities and to further develop his career’, said the airport group. Bourienne (below) is currently UK Travel


Retail Forum (UKTRF) Chair and has been outspoken on numerous issues facing the UK travel industry in recent months, including the decision from the UK Government to end tax free sales. He was first elected UKTRF chair in 2018


after well-known industry figure Sarah Branquinho stepped down from the role. Bourienne joined AGS initially as


Commercial Director of Glasgow Airport Ltd 10 years ago and has been a key figure in the success and growth of the group, said AGS.


Sountou Bousso named Chief Exec at Lagardère TR Senegal and Gabon Lagardère Travel Retail has appointed Sountou Bousso as Chief Executive Officer of the company’s Senegal and Gabon operations in Africa. Senegalese citizen Bousso (above) takes


over the position with immediate effect from Bruno Bouchacourt, who is retiring after two decades at Lagardère Travel Retail. Bousso joins from global catering


group Newrest, where he was most recently General Manager for Cameroon and Senegal. Prior to this, he was General Manager of


Newrest in Angola and in New Caledonia. In a statement, Lagardère Travel Retail


says the appointment ties in with its ambition to promote local leadership and empowerment to strengthen the business’ position as a leading international travel retail operator in Africa. Meanwhile, Lagardère Travel Retail Chief


Business Officer Ambroise Fondeur has left the group after 26 years. Fondeur, who has held roles in the US


and Europe will pursue new professional challenges. The company has also revealed several
