Café culture Wherever you go in Bristol, you won’t be far from a cosy independent café (or three). Bring your books for a working lunch, enjoy the view from a scenic roof terrace, or spend a lazy Sunday playing board games.
See them first Bristol’s wealth of small venues means there’s plenty of opportunity to catch bands on the rise. Check out Thekla, a former cargo ship turned indie venue, or the 140-capacity, family-run Louisiana whose small stage hosted the Strokes, Coldplay and Muse before they were big.
