We take a social science approach to management, examining the behaviour of individuals and organisations in a wide context. The course addresses both theoretical and empirical aspects; our lecturing team comprises leading researchers and specialist teaching staff. Your teaching will be a balance of lectures and tutorials. This course will equip you to use the critical, theoretical and practical skills central to management, along with key, related subjects such as finance, economics, social theory and statistics.

This is a unique course combining all that you would expect of a research-informed physics degree with expert tuition, insight and practice in innovation and entrepreneurship. The course will equip you with all the critical, theoretical and practical skills central to physics. You will learn about the fundamental building blocks and forces of nature, and how physics enables us to understand the world around us from sub- atomic particles to cosmological length scales.


You will blend this developing expertise in physics with teaching, training and practical experience in innovation that will help you to be a future innovator in society, whether in further research, a start-up, a social enterprise, or other fields of employment. While this new programme has yet to be accredited by the Institute of Physics, the core physics units are also part of our accredited physics programmes.
