“Out-of-the-box” approaches are encouraged, especially in sessions focussing on innovation, such as the finals of the ACHEMA Innovation Challenge or the presentation of the finalists of the ACHEMA Startup Award.
Making new business contacts and discussing current trends with industry experts worldwide has been dearly missed in recent months. ACHEMA Pulse is a new digital format supplementing ACHEMA and AchemAsia and serving the global process industries.
ACHEMA Pulse is more than just a high-profile event. It offers a safe, interactive and international platform to discuss all the issues that concern chemical engineers in France as much as in China and biotechnologists in the USA as much as in Italy. It is equally clear that such discussions and networking take time.

That is why the interactive platform opens as early as 31 May 2021 and will then remain accessible for four weeks. In the virtual environment of ACHEMA Pulse, renowned exhibitors will present their technologies and solutions; participants from all over the world will be able to make contact and engage in conversation. With an algorithm-based matchmaking technology participants can meet the contacts they are actively looking for and make new connections suggested based on their profile. The integrated communication tools make establishing common ground easy, comfortable and fast. The organizers intend ACHEMA Pulse to become the most- interactive digital event for the process industry to date.

In addition, a three-tier application-oriented conference programme and numerous satellite workshops will attract participants to the virtual discussion rooms. ACHEMA’s main topics, such as the The Digital Lab, Modular and Connected Production or Process Security and Safety, will be given a lot of space at ACHEMA Pulse. At the same time, it will mark the start of the new areas “Digital Hub” and “Circular Innovation Zone”, which will bring new stakeholder groups into focus at ACHEMA in April 2022. Exhibitors will also be active at ACHEMA Pulse with their own streams and workshops, giving potential customers and business partners the opportunity to find out about their offerings in detail.

Following an exclusive Media Preview on the platform in March, Dr Björn Mathes, Member of the Executive Board of DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH, said: “We received a lot of positive feedback from both exhibitors and media representatives.
