Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin recent- ly opened its new state-of-the-art Mil- waukee headquarters in West Allis. The 25,000-square-foot building, nearly double the size of the pharmacy’s former Mil- waukee and Menomonee Falls locations combined, makes it possible for Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin to better serve its rapidly growing customer base.


Vitality Senior Services, in partnership with Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, recently acquired two senior living communities located in Franklin and Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Maristone of Franklin off ers 41 assisted liv- ing studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments with a combination of 13 studio and com- panion suites for those residents needing memory care. Maristone of Mt. Juliet off ers 48 assisted living studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom apartments with a mixture of 13 studio and companion suites within its vibrant Memory Care community. Now owned and managed by Vitality Senior Services, these senior liv- ing communities will undergo signifi cant updates to the assisted living and memo- ry care apartments, as well as community amenities. These updates will include ren- ovations to the existing hair salon, therapy gym, private dining, library, lounge, and outdoor courtyards, as well as the addition of a new bar and chapel. Improvements and renovations are expected to be completed by late 2024.

Allegro Senior Living has named two new executives for Allegro Fort Lauderdale. Peter Cowley will be the community’s executive di- rector and Robin Evitts the lead senior living advisor.


NEIL GOMES


AmeriHealth Caritas, a national leader in Medic- aid managed care and other health care solu- tions, announced the ap- pointment of Neil Gomes as senior vice president


and chief digital offi cer, and Ngoc Trang as senior vice president and chief actuary.


NGOC TRAN


Gomes will be responsible for continuing the growth of the digital team and its capabilities. The role un- derscores the importance of data and analytics, and the essential role they


play in the company’s goal to achieve better outcomes and higher levels of member satis- faction. Trang will play an essential role in risk oversight as she works with the compa- ny’s health care plans and product teams to develop and execute product, pricing, and cost strategies.


Anna Cusic has been named community relations director for Willowbrook Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Littleton, Colo. In this position, she will be responsible for community outreach and marketing.


The Aspenwood Company named Eric Varin senior vice president of sales and Anna Callender vice president of operations. Varin brings more than 12 years of sales experience in senior living and most recent- ly served as vice president of partnerships at Sherpa, while also contributing to orga- nizations such as OneDay, Allegro Senior Living, and Benchmark Senior Living. Cal- lender previously served as director of fi eld operations for Resort Lifestyle Communities and regional vice president of operations with Sunshine Retirement Living.


Julie Lombardo joins Lloyd Jones as chief operating offi cer of the Northeast Mid-At- lantic Region. She brings 12 years of experi- ence in senior housing with strong academ- ic credentialing and real-time experience in resident care. Lombardo will be based remotely in Milford, Mass., to serve Aviva Senior Living Northeast communities. Lloyd Jones has successfully invested in and op- erated multifamily and senior housing real estate for four decades: as managers for the FDIC, and as developers, investors, and managers of multifamily and senior hous- ing assets thereafter. Since 1990, Lloyd Jones has developed, owned, and managed approximately $1.2 billion in multifamily real estate.


MICHAEL OLMSTEAD


Senior living provider Buckner Retirement Services named Michael Olmstead as vice presi- dent and COO. In his new role, Olmstead will oversee operations of the


faith-based, nonprofi t senior living provider. He will also ensure the creation and imple- mentation of new processes and strategies supporting the organizational mission of Buckner. He previously served as vice presi- dent of operations for Ascension Living where he led an operations team responsible for 34 communities in 11 states and Wash- ington D.C. Buckner is making two addition- al leadership moves to provide greater strate- gic


support for its six senior living


communities across Texas. Abraham Mathew, the executive director of Buckner senior liv- ing community Parkway Place in Houston, will serve as director of operations for Buck- ner Retirement Services. Mathew takes over for Chuck Childress, who transitions to direc- tor of business development.


MEREDITH MILLS


Continuing the leader family legacy at Country Meadows Retirement Communities and Ecu- menical Retirement Com- munity, the organization announces Meredith Mills


as its new president & CEO. Mills is the granddaughter of former Pennsylvania Gov. George Leader and Mary Jane Leader, who founded Country Meadows. Mills moves into this role formerly held by Michael Leader, who, after more than 30 years leading the organization, has transitioned into a new position as executive chairman. Mills has held various positions at Country Meadows including marketing director, campus ex- ecutive director, vice president of strategic planning and most recently, chief operating offi cer. She has a master’s degree in Health Administration from Penn State University and an undergraduate degree from Frank- lin and Marshall College. She is delighted to carry on her family’s more than 60-year mission to serve seniors. This year marks the 61st year of the Leader family’s involvement in the senior living industry, which contrasts a 2010 report by the Conway Center for
