Free theatre productions
The National Theatre has made a collection of 24 of its productions available free of charge to state schools across the UK. Launched in partnership with Bloomsbury Publishing, the collection draws from ten years of NT Live broadcasts and never-before released productions from the National Theatre’s archive. Celebrating the best of contemporary British theatre, the titles support learning across the primary and secondary curriculum and include Shakespeare set texts, classic novels brought to life, and adaptions of popular plays created specifically for younger audiences. Recordings are accompanied by learning resources, including rehearsal insights and short videos. Schools and further education colleges can register now at

PUPIL CREATIVES VIP EXPERIENCE
AT THE BETT SHOW The annual Bett Show brings together more than 800 leading companies working in education technology. Bett is inviting school business managers and bursars to experience its 2021 show as a VIP, with a content and meetings programme tailored to their school’s needs. The offer includes a tailored seminar programme and access to the VIP networking lounge, as well as £250 in reimbursed travel and accommodation expenses* when VIPs attend a programme of eight 15-minute meetings with suppliers selected to support their school’s requirements. These one-to-one meetings will take place on-site at ExCel London during the show in January.

Media Smart – the advertising industry’s corporate social responsibility programme – has an exciting range of free media and digital resources for teachers of pupils aged between seven and 16. The latest resource encourages secondary school students to eat more vegetables by creating a public health advert. Pupils are challenged to design an entertaining and persuasive public health campaign, and are guided through the steps an advertising agency would follow, focusing on what motivates and interests their target audience. Media Smart aims to generate awareness of creative careers, and wants students to confidently navigate the media they consume, and be able to identify, interpret and evaluate all forms of advertising.
