SHOWCASE LANCASTER AND MORECAMBE
SHINING A LIGHT ON THE NORTH’S KEY PLAYERS
In this edition, we take an in-depth look at Lancaster and Morecambe through the eyes of the organisations based in this historic part of the county.
We assembled a diverse line-up, looking to cover various sectors, various sizes, and various stages of the growth journey, to give us as complete a picture as possible.
Over the previous pages you can read their thoughts and opinions on the area’s strengths, its opportunities and its challenges.
Over these next couple of pages we asked those businesses to tell us, and you, a little about themselves.
We put the spotlight on them to showcase the exciting things that they are doing locally, throughout Lancashire and beyond. We hope you’ll find these snapshots inspiring.
And if you’d like to know more about any of these organisations, or you’d be interested in working together, we encourage you to reach out and start a conversation.

Who we are
Hotfoot is a strategic creative agency with a huge passion for design and technology.
Our brilliant band of award-winning specialists love to deliver outstanding work - from brand strategies and visual identities to website designs and marketing campaigns.
Established in 2006, our clients range from iconic brands and large organisations through to growing SMEs and start-ups across the UK and beyond. And they all have one thing in common. Ambition.
What we’ve achieved
Over the last few years we have started to work with some truly iconic brands, including Rolls Royce and the NHS.
We’ve slowly but surely increased the scope of work we undertake for our clients, as we’ve shifted from undertaking projects to providing ongoing strategic and practical support.
Our team has never been stronger with outstanding specialists in design, development, marketing and project management.
Why we love Lancaster and Morecambe
We increasingly work with clients from far and wide, but we’ll never lose our northern roots or pride in where we’re from.
Lancaster is our home city and Lancashire remains a really important place for us - it’s where we live and work, and we think it gives us a unique take on the world.
We’re close enough to the action, but far enough to have some real perspective.

Funded by Department of Education, managed through the LEP, our programme called CODE Lancashire completely aligns with our purpose of “Developing teams and leaders to build a stronger business”.
Our aspirations are to continue delivering programmes in the region which address the skills and people talent needs of businesses across the North West.
Why we love Lancaster and Morecambe
The Lancaster and Morecambe region has a unique business vibe and diversity with a city close to coast and country.
That diversity added to a rich history, its status on the global academic stage and a vibrant digital and tech business community (among others) makes it the place of opportunity and growth for us.
