Accountancy and advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley has launched its own charitable foundation to support its mission of improving access to financial education for the next generation. Altham-based construction firm Readstone has started work on a £1.6m refurbishment which will breathe new life into the Pendle Hippodrome Theatre in Colne. Made Smarter, a pioneering programme helping Lancashire manufacturers invest in industrial digital technology, is forecast to create more than 1,550 new jobs and boost the region’s economy by £242m, new figures reveal.
