“Lancaster City has a special place in my heart, and Landis Communities is doing things to make this city even better.”

Te building itself, from the inside out, was designed to be environmentally friendly.

“Most of the exterior of the building is cement fiber siding and it’s made from materials that are “greener” than vinyl or other popular materials,” Linford explained. “It is made with less impact to the environment than traditional siding.”

Landis Place on King’s National Green Building Standard® (NGBS) certification is pending. Tis is important because it certifies, via a third-party verification, that a development or structure is truly “green,” and has attained high performance in resource, energy and water efficiency, site design, indoor environmental quality, operation, and maintenance.

“I’ve just moved in, but I love the views and all the green plants,” LPK resident Bob Bennett notes. “Tat roof is really something special!”

Residents will not only thrive personally in their new community, but they will also derive satisfaction and joy from the knowledge that the community itself exists within a space that has been engineered to produce optimal thriving – from the environment we all share to the flourishing new relationships within the walls of Landis Place on King.
