He’s an individual with a unique blend of homegrown charm and a love for adventure.

ill's adventurous life has taken him all over the world. He joyfully recounts his journeys to places like Hawaii, Germany, Labrador, and Green Bay. Of all these locations, his favorite destination remains Syracuse, New York. “Tat’s where I met


the love of my life, Mary,” he remembers. Te couple has been married for an impressive 47 years, and raised two adopted children who are now grown.


Bill's commitment to duty is evident in his distinguished military career. He served for eight years in the Air Force, specializing in fixing the electronics of airplanes. Later, he spent two decades in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany in the 1970s.


Bill has encountered several iconic figures such as Diana Ross, President Nixon, and President Kennedy. One of Bill's most memorable stories involves helping Diana Ross when her vehicle broke down. In return for assisting the singer and her group, he found himself sharing a dance with her at a concert. Bill's connection with presidents is equally intriguing – from guarding President Nixon's plane to serving as part of President Kennedy's security. Tese accounts provide a glimpse into Bill's life, where every moment seems like a chapter from an adventure novel.


Bill learned of Landis Adult Day Services through the Veteran's Administration. Every Tuesday and Tursday, he loves attending the program, and finds joy in the camaraderie with the clients and team members. Bill exclaims, “Te team at Landis Adult Day Services is exceptional.” He has formed genuine connections with the team and appreciates the care and support they provide.
