SIMPLE INNOVATIONS, A SOURCE OF JOY


Robert knows just how much the simple things in life can inspire pure joy – especially tomato plants. He had farming in his blood long before he arrived at Welsh Mountain Home a little over a year ago and became one of the major tenders for the Welsh Mountain Home gardens.


A


t the age of eight, Robert moved with his parents and brother to a farm, just three miles from Welsh Mountain Home. When he was in 8th grade, his father shared that he could not afford to send both Robert and his brother to high school without having to sell the farm. Robert was delighted, as farming, not school, was his true passion.
