WINTER 2018 • SPOTLIGHT • 31

The Bristol office was delighted to host the “Grande Depart” for the 2018 Colliers International charity cycle, The SxSW Cycle Challenge. In its twelfth year, this year’s route took over 40 Colliers employees from across the network of UK offices, including eight from the Bristol office, on a 250 mile route that started in Castle Park and ended at the Mayflower steps in Plymouth Docks. The route, generally considered to be the toughest yet, took in the Mendip Hills, Exmoor, the Devon coast and Dartmoor over three days.

The event raised £15,000, which was shared between Cancer Research UK and the North West Children’s Support Group, a voluntary organisation which provides holidays and social events for disabled and disadvantaged children.
