ARE WE GOING

HEALTH MAD?

RACHEL STERN | SURVEYOR | LICENSED & LEISURE | +44 20 7487 1823

With boutique gyms busier than nightclubs, poke takeaways replacing cheesy pizzas, veggie Pret- a-Mangers expanding rapidly and Fitbits and veganism becoming more trendy than a pair of Louboutins, we are forced to ask ourselves… Are we going health mad?

The desire to lead a healthy lifestyle has become universal. Historically, a big stomach was the ultimate symbol of wealth, but nowadays it’s the polar opposite. Busier than ever personal trainers costing upwards of £50 per hour and boutique gyms averaging £20 a class are full of ab hopefuls in £100 Sweaty Betty sweatpants – needless to say it’s an expensive trend.
