Padella heads to Shoreditch for second outlet


Padella – the Italian pasta restaurant that became hugely popular when it opened in London’s Borough Market – is opening a second outlet across town in Shoreditch.


It will occupy the restaurant space at Workspace Group’s The Frames office scheme in Phipp Street EC2.


George Collison of Colliers’ Central London Restaurants team – which advised Workspace on the letting – comments: “Padella shot to fame when it opened its first London restaurant in 2016 and since then not a day has gone by without long queues of hungry, first-come-first-served pasta fans outside its doors and snaking round the corner. The Frames will be a fantastic setting for its second London outlet”.
