Napapijri takes new London store

Streetwear and utility brand, Napapijri, has opened a new London store at 3-4 Carnaby Street.

The brand recently launched ‘Infinity’: a 100% recyclable jacket that’s been three years in the making. Developed in conjunction with Aquafil, the filling and trims for the jacket are made from ECONYL® and Nylon 6 Fabric using recycled fishing nets.

David Carlsson of Colliers’ London Retail Agency team – which advised Shaftesbury on the letting – comments: “What makes this collection unique is that customers can bring the jacket back for recycling after two years of use. Each jacket can be redeemed for a voucher for the purchase of a new Infinity item at the end of its current lifespan.

“It’s another good example of how a growing band of retailers are now embracing a more sustainable approach to clothing production.”
