Third-party decision on M&S Simply Food
A third-party decision has seen the rent on a M&S Simply Food store at 99-107 High Street Teddington, rise from £407,000pa (£25.50 per sq ft) to £450,000pa. The new rent equates to £28.25 per sq ft.
Colin Moran of the Colliers’ UK Lease Advisory team – which advised landlord, Aberdeen Standard on the September 2018 rent review – comments: “The result was determined by an Independent Expert and we also had the costs of the third-party referral awarded in our favour”.

Rent increases 24% on TK Maxx store
Advised by Colliers UK Lease Advisory team, M&G Real Estate has secured a 24% increase on the rent of the TK Maxx store at 60-62 High Street, Putney, London SW15.
Colliers’ Colin Moran comments: “The rent review on the 22,500 sq ft store was due in March 2018 and the settlement was agreed by negotiation from £320,000pa – which equated to £14.70 per sq ft – to £397,500pa which reflects £19 per sq ft”.
