President’s Message

Angie Adams, CMCA, AMS, PCAM Pacifi c Coast Management, Inc. Chapter President

Hello, everyone! I hope you had a great summer and fall!

The Chapter held its Annual Symposium and Expo in late August and it was amazing. From the informative education and great speakers to the animated trade show, a big shout-out to the Symposium Committee for all of their hard work making this year’s event memorable. It has been fun to watch our new members jump in with their enthusiasm and volunteerism. Thank you to all who participated.

Our fourth quarter events and luncheons were exciting. From the Renaissance Faire where we dressed the part and played turkey bowling and went on a gnome hunt to the October luncheon that featured motivational speaker, Gina H. Tabrizy, MS, MFT, who spoke to us about “Learning to Have Kindness, Compassion, and Love for Yourself.” Who doesn’t need a little kindness in their life?

Ending the year, I hope to see everyone at at the holiday social where we donate toys to Olive Crest.

I truly hope you have enjoyed some of our new events this year and I cannot wait to see what 2024 brings. We have such great committees and appreciate all of their hard work this past year.

This is my fi nal message. It has been an honor to have served as the President of this amazing Chapter. The year has fl own by and my appreciation for our Chapter staff is beyond words. They work extremely hard for the membership. Last but certainly not least, we could not be successful without our amazing members’ sponsorships, volunteerism, and presence at our events.

I will look forward to continuing to support our great Chapter. I encourage you to fi nd a committee that you are passionate about and gives you what you need in return. I encourage those who are on committees to think about a leadership role within the committee so that you can continue your growth within the Chapter. It takes a village to be successful in an organization like CAI.

Thank you so much for all of your support this year and remember to fi nd your passion, continue to grow in your profession, and always take time to smell the roses! But most of all, Aspire to Inspire!

With thanks-
