Where has time gone?
I can’t believe this is the July/August issue of the magazine. Time has fl own by and we still have so many new things to bring to our members this year.
We hope to see all our managers and Homeowner Leaders at our Symposium & Expo this year on Thursday, August 31st. It is always such a great day with so much education and networking with the sponsors.
The Social Committee is excited to host a Renaissance Faire this year, so please mark your calendar for Thursday, September 28th. The Faire will be held at the Giracci Vineyards. We want people to dress up and really get into the atmosphere with some wild and crazy activities and networking.
The Chapter will be recognizing all the new PCAM’s at our PCAM Reception. What is a PCAM? Professional Community Association Manager, which is the highest credential through the CAI education certifi cations. I received my PCAM in 2014 and it was a lot of work but so rewarding. I recommend to all the managers out there to look into the CAI National Certifi cation programs. You can fi nd all the information on their website,
caionline.org. The Orange County Chapter has a Rebate Program for classes you take through CAI. The deadline for the next application is on September 30, 2023. If you have any questions on this program, please reach out to Denise Kennedy at the chapter offi ce.
Our Emerging Leader/Mentorship program is off and running. We have some wonderful mentors and mentees that are working hard to continue their growth in our industry. We are planning to have a Business Partner Emerging Leader/Mentorship program kicking off in the 4th
quarter of this year. Please watch for updates on that program.
We hope to see you at one of our luncheons or social events, and if you would like to become more involved with our Chapter, we are always looking for new faces on our committees. We have so many to choose from that you can fi nd one that fi ts your needs.
