Editor’s note: Linda and I have received numerous cards, letters, notes, emails and text messages like those below. We appreciate all of the support expressed by our readers. All of your kind words are very meaningful to us. One message in particular got our attention. It was from Jim Kiser. As college students, Jim and I were partners buying and selling insulators in 1969 & 1970. Jim wrote....

Linda is worth way more to Crown Jewels of the Wire than any lawyer could ever be, so it would only be fair that she be compensated the same as the Chicago lawyer. Therefore, since she has put in 9,000 hours for CJOW, then by my calculations, she 



