Many collectors have small collections of later post Fred Locke made bases.   of the large Fred Locke base used on the Borel line pictured earlier in this article.  photo of Borel line bases to see this base). Only a few of these NL bases have ever been found. All were found on the Borel line along with many of the Fred Locke bases used with the M-3721 and M-4325a multiparts.

This story cannot be properly told without mentioning what has to be the oddest of all these pins. The American made glass pin base  1902. To date only three of these glass bases  Novelty Glass Works products by the glass color and the fact that the jobber Manhattan electrical supply who sold them and also sold a variety of other glass insulator products made by novelty glass works. The pin base has four distinct small points on the top to grip the wood cob and four on the bottom to grip the crossarm.
