be spending time in the New Testament Gospels over the summer months. Our major venues of evangelism over

the summer are Fisher Bay Bible Camp and Vacation Bible School. Tis year’s theme for VBS will be “Camp Moose on the Loose” (2018.rbpvbs.org). About 25–30 children will learn about and dis- cover God’s forever forgiveness. Many in the congregation assist by praying and by helping with decorating, teaching, bring- ing snacks and in many other ways. Maritta Sinisalo, Correspondent

EMB Church Marion, South Dakota Randell J. Maass, Pastor embcountrychurch.com On June 23 and 24 we celebrated our

125th Anniversary of the Marion EMB Church which was founded in 1893 (see page 10). In May, we recognized the ten years

Pastor Randy Maass has served at Marion EMB. We praise the Lord for his Bi- ble-based messages. We have studied many books of the Bible in depth and verse-by- verse. A personal favorite has been the study of the Minor Prophets. Adult Sunday School is discussing vari-

ous topics in response to articles in the Fel- lowship Focus or other periodicals that do not appear in other Bible studies. We are searching the Scriptures with the question of “What would Jesus do?” and seeking other scriptural principles that apply. Evelyn Duerksen, Correspondent

Crosspoint Bible Church Omaha, Nebraska Paul Nyquist, Interim Lead Pastor Gary Krehbiel, Campus Pastor crosspointbible.org During Easter weekend, the Benning-

ton campus folks joined us for a Good Friday service held at the Omaha campus. On Easter morning, the Bennington

campus held an Easter Egg Hunt and served breakfast to the community before the worship service. Many new families brought their children for the egg hunt and stayed for breakfast. Several families from the Omaha campus helped with the egg hunt and breakfast. On Sunday, April 8, the Blaine

Donaldson family was honored with a farewell reception. We have been honored to have them at Crosspoint during the eight years that Blaine has served as FEBC president. We wish them God’s blessing as they relocated to Washington state where Blaine will begin a new ministry as pastor of a church. A former Muslim, who is now a Chris-

tian, shared her testimony at the Crescent Project Potluck Dinner following the worship services on April 8. Information about the local ministries to Muslims was also provided to those in attendance. Tis was in connection with the class “Bridges — Connecting with Muslims” which met during the spring quarter. Te OASIS Women’s Retreat was held

at a hotel in Omaha for two days at the end of April. Te retreat centered around a pre-recorded IF:Gathering (ifgathering. com/if-gathering-2018) video seminar. Te theme was about discipling people where you are and being a generation of “flame-throwers” to pass vibrant faith on to the next generation. Compassion® Sunday was observed

with a video during services on April 29. Many families in the congregation sponsor children through Compassion® Interna- tional (compassion.com). A mother and daughter who were preparing to go meet the child whom they sponsor were inter- viewed, and an information table in the foyer encouraged families to sponsor new children from other countries. An Awana® Awards Night celebrated

the achievements of the more than 200 children involved in the program this year.

It was preceded by a cookout provided for all the families. On Sunday, May 6, our senior pastor,

Dr. Don Pahl, announced his retirement. He and Rosi will relocate to be near their children in the Kansas City area. Tey were honored at an open house celebrating twenty years of ministry at Crosspoint Bible Church on May 20. Former pastor, Dr. Paul Nyquist, will

be the interim pastor during the months of June through August. He and his wife, Cheryl, will temporarily move to Omaha from Chicago, where he was president of Moody Bible Institute. Our Worship Pastor, Kevin Stone,

submitted his resignation on May 13. Pastor Kevin has accepted the position of President of FEBC and has already begun his work. He and his wife, Melissa, will continue to live in Omaha and attend Crosspoint Bible as oſten as his job allows. Jason Slininger, former worship leader, has been selected to be the interim Worship Director through the transition period. Te Faith Forward Campaign for

Crosspoint Bible Church ended May 31. Tis campaign encouraged giſts to build an addition and remodel older areas of our facility. God’s faithfulness was exceedingly abundant as our goals were exceeded! Baptisms: Four in May Marjorie Kirkpatrick, Correspondent

Grunthal EMB Church Grunthal, Manitoba Jared Fast, Pastor grunthalembchurch.wixsite.com/grun- thalembchurch It was wonderful to celebrate Jesus

Christ’s death and resurrection as well as the baptism and membership of five adults. Teir testimonies were a rich blessing as they told how God is guiding each one in their unique life situations. Missionaries featured in April were Josh and Josie Dyck and family, serving in Asia
