Tip: The most crucial thing to remember when firing is to make sure your PMC is completely dry before you start. Any residual moisture will spit and bubble during heating which may distort your design and possibly ruin it.


You can tell when your clay piece is fully dry by placing it on a mirror for five seconds. If there is condensation on the mirror when you remove the piece, then the item is not yet dry.
