Curved Burnisher


A steel or agate burnishing tool can be used on any raised areas of fired clay to achieve a bright shine. Simply rub repeatedly until you get the desired result.


Polishing Papers


Polishing papers contain a very fine grit on a soft paper which can be used after firing to bring pieces up to a high shine. 3M make a very good range which is colour coded for easy identification. As with all sanding, always work from coarser to fine grades.
