Sail design was taught by an international sail maker and provided hands-on demonstration to making a sail. A local science teacher taught buoyancy and the kids made small boats from milk cartons which were raced for prizes. Wind measurement, another REACH activity was part of the program. “With the enthusiasm and support of the Youth Sailing Program Leadership, I was able to make this program happen.”
