THE DESTINATION
In the Alpine village of Leogang, an hour’s drive from Salzburg, a 400-year-old forestry station now houses five-star Naturhotel Forsthofgut, a collection of stylish wood-and-glass buildings created by the Schmuck family, in its fifth generation at the helm. Outside, there are forest yoga platforms, riding stables and a natural swimming lake with a floating Finnish sauna. Enjoy onsen baths in the adults-only waldSPA Lake House, as well as exceptional cuisine. Half- board options include creative vegan dishes, and three a la carte restaurants offer a choice of traditional, gourmet and Japanese specialities. With poles and backpacks available for exploring nearby Asitz mountain, Forsthofgut is the perfect escape to nature. British Airways flies from Gatwick to Salzburg four times a week.
THE PRIZE
Courtesy of Naturhotel Forsthofgut, the winner and a guest will enjoy three nights in a double room on a half-board basis, as well daily afternoon tea, one 25-minute massage per person, a range of complimentary activities and return airport transfers in Austria. The prize also includes return economy class flights from Gatwick to Salzburg with British Airways and Saalfelden-Leogang Cards for free use of local cable-cars, public transport and admission to some attractions.
