guests can soak up the views while bathing. Expanding on its role as stewards of Mount
Liamuiga, the Belle Mont Sanctuary Resort team have adopted the core precepts of permaculture. This means the resort’s restaurant, The Kitchen, is provisioned with produce from local farmers and fresh catch from the local fishermen. The result is a dining experience that honours authentic Kittitian flavours. The restaurant is decorated with vintage pieces from the sugar mills that made St Kitts home to the premier sugar economy of the West Indies, including light fixtures and floors. The resort also has an oceanfront beach club and restaurant, Arthur’s, where guests can enjoy the freshest catch and relax in chaise lounges. It’s an eight-minute drive from the resort to Dieppe Bay and transportation is complimentary. The resort, designed by renowned architect Bill
Bensley, opened in July 2014 and has since become a five-star hotel and landmark of the island. The new Mangifera Wellbeing Spa opens in the spring of 2024 and more villas are scheduled to become available for the 2024-2025 season.
