Vaulted ceilings, reminiscent of the Vietnamese emperor’s court, invite the air to move freely, while French colonial influences lend an understated elegance. Over the centuries, the land has passed through only two families, and any changes have been made with respect — an evolution rather than an overhaul. Nature takes the lead here. Gardens flourish,
untouched by pesticides, nurtured with care rather than chemicals. Even the smallest details honour
this philosophy — snails are managed by hand, not poison. The pools, seamlessly integrated into the landscape, mirror the shifting sky, while a private road ensures seclusion. Well-being at Cassia Cottage feels effortless.
A wooden pavilion, which is open, light and airy, hosts sunrise and sunset yoga, while the pools and gardens become settings for specialised physical therapies. Traditional Vietnamese and Thai massage, performed by skilled hands, soothes both body and mind, connecting guests to centuries-old healing traditions. Dining here is a slow and thoughtful affair.
