PAID CONTENT FOR CASAS BRANCAS BOUTIQUE HOTEL & SPA

Casas Brancas Boutique Hotel & Spa RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL

Casas Brancas Boutique Hotel & Spa, founded in 1974 in Búzios, began as a small guesthouse with just four rooms in what was then a remote village. Since then, it has continuously evolved, becoming an icon of boutique hospitality and earning both national and international recognition. Today, Casas Brancas offers 33 guest rooms and

suites across nine exclusive categories, each designed with meticulous attention to detail. Handcrafted furniture, natural fabrics and a gentle colour palette define the decor, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and sophistication. The open architecture, seamlessly integrated with nature, enhances the sense of exclusivity and tranquility, making every stay an immersive experience. The culinary offerings enhance the hospitality,

with two restaurants: 74 Restaurant and 74 Osteria. Opened in 2015, 74 Restaurant blends Brazilian and Mediterranean influences, using local ingredients in contemporary dishes. 74 Osteria, located on Orla Bardot, offers an intimate setting with classic Italian recipes enriched by coastal ingredients, maintaining the high standards of Casas Brancas.

Beyond the cuisine, the cocktail menu is a

highlight, featuring tropical drinks that showcase flavours like cupuaçu, cashew and passion fruit. The pastry selection is carefully crafted, focusing on seasonal ingredients and Brazilian style. Casas Brancas Spa is a wellness sanctuary

designed to provide a complete relaxation and renewal experience. With a serene and welcoming atmosphere, it offers therapeutic and relaxing massages, as well as personalised facial and body treatments, all using high-quality products. Techniques such as lymphatic drainage, reflexology and aromatherapy are available, promoting balance and revitalisation. Casas Brancas’ history mirrors Búzios’ own

transformation. When it was founded, the streets were unpaved, access was difficult and the entire village relied on a single telephone. The founders aimed to create a unique environment, blending local cultural elements with a hospitality concept that endures to this day. Despite modernisation, the hotel remains under the founding family’s management, ensuring a commitment to excellence.

DON’T MISS Head to the hotel spa for exclusive treatments such as a personalised facial or a relaxing full-body massage
