Regnum Carya TURKEY

This stunning five-star resort on the glittering Mediterranean coast of Turkey is home to verdant gold courses, world-class beaches and a host of thrilling activities ranging from golf to tennis, not to mention a huge water park

Located in the heart of nature amid lush green scenery, with golf courses that stretch to the horizon, music and entertainment from world- famous stars on stage, Regnum Carya is one of Turkey’s most prominent hotels and the perfect setting for an unforgettable adventure. Spread over some 250 acres in Belek on Turkey’s picturesque southern Mediterranean coast, Regnum Carya takes its name from regnum, meaning ‘kingdom’ in Latin, and ‘carya’, an indigenous walnut tree. The hotel also features elements from the rich history of the area, which is reflected in its design details and architectural concepts. The story of Regnum Carya begins with

the opening of Carya Golf Club in 2008. As Europe’s first and only fully floodlit 18-hole golf course, Carya Golf Club is the result of an ambitious project of a team of expert designers from Thomson Perrett & Lobb golf course architects, founded by Peter Thomson, the five- time winner of the British Open.

134 International tournaments are held at least

once a year, with legendary golfer Tiger Woods having played at the acclaimed Carya Golf Club. That said, the club is designed as much for beginner and amateur players as it is for professional golfers. It also has its own academy with a driving range and teaching studios, where keen youngsters can learn to play under the tutelage of experienced experts. Regnum Carya is famous not only for its

golf courses, but also has six tennis courts and three football fields. There’s also an outdoor basketball court, as well as a beach volleyball court. In addition, professional coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation offer training for talented young football players between June and September each year. Just a year after opening, Regnum Carya

hosted the 2015 G20 summit, signalling its arrival as a truly world-class hotel by welcoming many of the world’s most prominent leaders and politicians.

Along with the five-storey main building,

there are nearly 100 villas with shared and private pools (including the pick of the bunch, the Crown Villa), more than 10 restaurants, 15 bars and nightclubs, a private white sand beach, pier, heated indoor/outdoor pools, fitness centre and a luxurious spa. GreenDoor Spa is perfect for rest and

relaxation, featuring a non-chemical indoor pool, hammam, sauna and steam room, as well as the ‘King Suite’. This concept suite is ideal for couples who value added privacy, with two hot stone beds, a jacuzzi, sauna, changing room, bath and shower. A variety of world-class treatments are available, including body- shaping massages, aromatherapy treatments and many more. The rooms are decorated according to a

contemporary aesthetic offering the same high standard of comfort regardless of room category, and access to the 250-metre white sand beach makes every guest feel like a VIP.

The Olive Restaurant is the hotel’s main

restaurant, serving sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets daily. An array of a la carte restaurants offer cuisine from around the world, including Thai from Ubon Tai, Japanese from Kushimoto, Turkish from Koz Ocakbasi, Italian from Ristorante Tramonto, Brazilian from Grill Do Brazil and Mediterranean from Sandal, among many others. From the moment it opened, Regnum Carya

has been a magnet for some of the world’s biggest stars. Pop music legend Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday here with her family and performed as well, dazzling guests with her iconic dance moves. World-famous celebrities such as Rita Ora, Sir Tom Jones, Dua Lipa, Jason Derulo, Anne Marie and James Arthur have all taken to the stage at Regnum Carya. Hollywood stars such as director Guy Ritchie and actors Jason Statham and Hugh Grant have stayed at the hotel while filming upcoming spy blockbuster Five Eyes, which prominently features the resort as a location.

ALIA BEACH CLUB The Mediterranean bohemian spirit comes to life at Alia Beach Club, a unique beachfront venue filtered through Regnum Carya’s signature style, complemented with exclusive access and services. With cordial, personalised service catering to every need, Alia takes the beach experience to a whole new level, enabling visitors to relax in luxury while digging their toes into the sand. Guests can soak up the rays on sunbeds amid

gently waving palm trees, white sands and the refreshing Mediterranean breeze. A spread of Mediterranean fusion cuisine is available for guests to feast on, prepared by experienced chefs from around the world. There’s live music to enjoy throughout the day and dancing around the fire after night falls. Private cabanas on the pier and the beach

serve food and drink as part of an elegant offering for those who wish to pamper themselves that little bit more and indulge in added exclusivity and privacy.
