Split Outdoor Adventure SPLIT, CROATIA
Split Outdoor Adventure was established in 2013 to enrich the tourist offerings of both the city of Split and the beautiful but underexplored Dalmatian hinterland. The company has a great love of nature and is
passionate about sharing the unique appeal of the Split hinterland with visitors. A wide range of adventure activities are on offer to make the most of the spectacular nature available right near the city. Split Outdoor Adventure started out
organising group quad-bike tours, and while this is still a core activity the portfolio has grown to include a diverse range of offerings. The idea for custom-made private tours sprung from paying close attention to guests’ needs and building experiences around these. The Private Quad Tour starts with guests
being collected at the hotel in an air-conditioned minivan by a friendly and knowledgeable local guide, who will share their wisdom on the nature and history of the area as you drive through the mountains.
After arriving at the tour location, the guide
will give a quick introduction on how to manage the quad vehicles and explain the route, before leading you along scenic, hidden paths that not even locals know about. Quad-biking around at 3,280ft above sea
level on the highest mountain in the Croatian Dinarides is a truly thrilling experience — even for those who have tried most adrenaline sports. Guests are granted plenty of breaks to take photos and enjoy the breathtaking views. The guide is at your service throughout and is
an expert at taking group photos. Then, if you’re in the mood for a spot of swimming, you can dive in and refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the Cetina river or take a dip in the nearby Lake Peru a. After an exciting drive through the Dalmatian
hinterland, guests are invited to enjoy a traditional Croatian dish called peka on the scenic riverbanks. You can choose to combine horse-riding or kayaking with the quad tour to spend a full day in nature.
