PAID CONTENT FOR MOUNTAIN HAWK PARK

Mountain Hawk Park RAZLOG, BULGARIA

In southwestern Bulgaria, Razlog is home to a number of interesting historical sights, museums and hiking peaks. Among the plethora of cultural treasures in the area, explore the stone church of Dobarsko, which features frescoes that date back over 400 years, including one that depicts Jesus Christ in something that resembles a spaceship. The church is a truly unique historical site,

also depicting full-size warrior saints and an extraordinary number of female figures. The area is marked by an interlacement of pagan and orthodox beliefs. Another key activity for visitors is a soak in the area’s thermal pools, which are thought to cure various gastrointestinal problems, restore the nervous system and heal skin irritations and other physical conditions. Perfectly located for breathtaking mountain

views, wildlife, hot springs and cultural activities, Mountain Hawk Park offers privacy and impeccable service with its luxurious yet traditional chalets. Featuring panoramic windows to make the most of the surrounding vistas, each elegant chalet can sleep up to 10 people.

All of the chalets have five double bedrooms,

four bathrooms, a large living area, a sauna, an outdoor barbecue area, parking and a private outdoor whirlpool bath to be enjoyed all year round. Additionally, guests receive around-the- clock staff service, including home deliveries, area insights and an on-site masseuse. Mountain Hawk Park’s chalets provide the ideal atmosphere for guests to relax in after enjoying the many activities available to experience in the area. Stepping out of the chalets, guests can enjoy

a variety of adventures right on their doorstep. Spend a day skiing in Bulgaria’s top mountain resort Bansko (just a 10-minute drive from Mountain Hawk Park) or visit one of the nearby peaks, most notably Musala (the highest peak in Bulgaria and the whole Balkan area) as well as Vihren and Muratov — and enjoy a day wandering on one of the many hiking paths. Try horse-riding or play a round of golf at one of the many courses. Numerous spa destinations, as well as many other activities, are also on offer — in terms of cultural endeavours, the area doesn’t disappoint.

DON’T MISS Hit the slopes on skis or snowboard, making the most of being near Bansko, Bulgaria’s top winter sports destination
