Tropical Hideaway Boutique-Style Properties BEQUIA, ST VINCENT & THE GRENADINES

Tropical Hideaway is a small boutique-style, luxury property, consisting of five private villas, suites and studios. It’s set on a hill, high above the famous Princess Margaret Beach, in four-and-a-half acres of gardens and forest. Popular with couples and small groups of one to 12 guests, the hotel offers an informal, private and relaxed atmosphere. All rooms have private facilities, including

verandahs with stunning views. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and luxuriously appointed, while the well-equipped kitchens allow guests the convenience of preparing their own food. The accommodation also helps cultivate an insect-free environment with ceiling fans and air conditioning. Often quoted as being one of the top 10 pools in the Caribbean, Tropical Hideaway’s 58ft-wide panoramic infinity pool is solar heated, meaning it can be enjoyed at all times of the year. There’s also a self-service, swim-up sunken pool bar complete with an icemaker, fridge and blender. The property’s environmental ethos is a key

element. The on-site shop offers a wide selection of quality products, all at local prices, with beer and

soft drink bottles being returned to the brewery for re-use. Tropical Hideaway doesn’t use single- use plastics, the cruelty-free toiletries are refilled from bulk containers and other items are recycled whenever possible. The property also grows its own produce in it gardens, uses solar power extensively and has the latest led-lighting technologies. A scenic woodland trail down some steps links

Tropical Hideaway to the road below, offering an energetic 15-minute stroll to some of Bequia’s most breathtaking beaches. A few minutes’ walk on from this and guests will find themselves among the island’s lively bars and laid-back restaurants. Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay are home to powdery white sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for a swim or a day of sun-soaked relaxation. The newly restored Belmont Walkway winds along the coast, connecting three of Bequia’s most beautiful beaches. This gentle two-mile path hugs the headlands and offers excellent snorkelling, charming rum bars, open-air cafes and boutique shops along the way. This is the Caribbean at its very best — authentic, safe and welcoming.

DON’T MISS Take a refreshing sunset swim in Tropical Hideaway’s iconic infinity pool, often ranked among the Caribbean’s best
