What is the CELON method?
CELON is a small wand which is placed in tissues of the throat that vibrate during snoring. When activated they cause scar tissue to form, which stops areas of the throat from flapping around at night causing snoring.
How long does it take?
Most people need at least five to ten minutes to complete a treatment if under local anaesthetic.
What are the benefits of the CELON method?
There are greatly reduced risks, complications and pain with this treatment compared to traditional options.
Do I need to stay in Hospital? The treatment needs to be performed in a clean environment, like a clinic treatment room. It does not require a stay overnight in a hospital.
How soon can I return to normal activity?
You will have a sore throat for about two to five days, but most people will be able to return to normal activity a few hours after the procedure.
