BMC partners with Montane
Montane becomes new BMC recommended clothing and pack partner.

Their involvement not only enables the BMC to address a funding gap, but sees us gain an enthusiastic, relevant and innovative partner with a strong interest in climbing and hill walking across the UK. We look forward to working with them.”
We’re currently planning a range of joint projects for 2018 and beyond, including supporting our Mountain Skills teepee at Keswick Mountain Festival 2018 and a new series of BMC TV mountain skills films.
You did it! £16,200 pledged for Horseshoe Heroes
Thanks to all you Horseshoe Heroes who pledged to help make the quarry a better place to climb.
The campaign was seriously successful, with 508 supporters pledging a total of £16,205 to smash our £15,000 target. Rewards ranged from Horseshoe Hero t-shirts and bespoke sculptures made out of the old bolts and chains, to adopting your favourite route or going on a masterclass with legend Steve McClure. The work is now finished and the routes ready to go. Thanks for digging deep and helping us improve this ever popular crag for current and future generations of climbers; you’re all 100% Horseshoe Heroes!
