WHOVA Mobile App – Get Connected to the WCIC Event
T
he year was 2017, we were in the pre-conference “zone”, we were a week out from the start of the show. Printing badges, processing registrations, making sure all the items on our timeline were ticked off, when a fast ball was hit directly to center field. “Let’s download this app called WHOVA, it will help our attendees communicate with each other and will streamline our onsite direct communications to all attendees that download the app!” WHAT??!! Okay, we will do it and see what happens! Well, we couldn’t have been happier
at how that stomach clenching, center field hit was fielded. Now it is five years later and WHOVA and their entire team has been great to work with. They are timely in their responses to attendees (you) and the administrators, (ICI Team), the price to use the service has remained steady and the support unparalleled. You can download the
Whova Mobile App or access it from the web platform on desktop:
• View the event agenda and plan your personal schedule
• Access to documents and slides shared by organizers or speakers
• Participate in ICI Generated surveys to receive PowerPoint slides
• Participate in our annual photo contest
• Find who else is attending this event and reach out to people ahead of time
• Plan some social activities such as a morning run, coffee hours, or meet- ups with your fellow attendees- You can even post job openings
• Receive updates such as last minute announcements from the ICI Team
After downloading, use your email
address when signing up on Whova mobile apps or web portal. Make sure you choose a strong password. You can also sign up using a social media account. Once you have signed up, you should be taken directly to your event! The App is continuously adding new features, make sure to download and check it out today. If you aren’t directly added to
the event and are asked for an event invitation code when accessing the event, please type in this invitation code, ICIWCIC2022. (Please do not share this invitation code with people who are not attendees of this event). Already used the Whova app in the
past? Double-check that it is installed on your phone, and log in using your existing account email and password. If you need more guidance on how
